Bali, located in the Indian Ocean, is part of the province of Bali, which is one of the 33 provinces of Indonesia and is part of the islands of the Lesser Sunda Islands archipelago.<\/p>

IF the Stone Age has left traces of population, the development of Bali’s rich heritage began during the Majapahit Empire (1293 to 1520 AD). This was an era ruled at its peak by Hayam Wuruk who, in addition to Bali, also controlled other kingdoms in the southern Malay Peninsula, Borneo, Sumatra, Kalimantan and eastern Indonesia, and the Philippines.<\/p>

This period brought Hindu and Javanese literature and artistic activities, which are still the foundation of Balinese arts today. It can be considered the golden age of Bali’s development.<\/p>

With the death of Hayam Wuruk, when conflicts broke out within the ruling family, while the power of the kingdoms of Java only increased, this golden age came to an end.<\/p>

A tropical climate.<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Located about 8 degrees south of the equator. You can therefore expect a tropical climate, hot and humid all year round, with two distinct seasons: the dry season and the rainy season.<\/p>

Bali’s central mountains (volcanoes) include several peaks, with Mount Agung reaching over 3,000 metres in height. Up there, temperatures are considerably cooler and rainfall is much higher than in the coastal areas.<\/p>

This climate makes it a great attraction for tourists. The average temperature throughout the year is about 26-27\u00b0C with a humidity of about 85-90%. The water temperature is always pleasant. The two seasons are not clearly defined and totally predictable.
